Parent of a child with SEND?
got feelings about the SEND Review?
Would you like to contribute to research about parent/carer views on the proposals and public consultation?
We already know that lots of parents have very strong feelings about the current SEND system and spend enormous amounts of time advocating for their children. The SEND Review published by the government at the end of March is proposing big changes to the current system and will have an impact right across the education, health, and social care sector for families of children with SEND. We feel it’s important to carry our research which directly hears from parents/carers about the new government proposals for the system.
In partnership with Sheffield Parent Carer Forum, researchers at Sheffield Hallam University are recruiting parent/carers for the Right to Review Project about the recent SEND Review. We’re offering parent/carers of children and young people with SEND £25 (in vouchers) to take part in a focus group throughout May and June.
